I have been sick with the flu for the past 3 days. Oh its been no fun… Missed Tuesdays Favorite but there will be one next week. Today I was finally able to go on a walk with Finny.
While on the walk I found an Owl feather in the middle of the path… I was pretty excited, I love finding feathers!
and a few weeks back while walking down long lane I found a butterfly. So I thought I would show the few treasures I have found recently down long lane.

Feeling pretty exhausted from the week, august always seems to rush past so quickly. It is hard to remember to take a break and step away from the chaos. Yesterday was one of those lovely days where I left my worries behind, and went swimming in a great big cool pond. What an amazing feeling it is, when you first dive in!
Then later a friend stopped by to pick up a bag I made for her. I thought she looked so cute in it, thought I would show it off.
Off to get ready for the market tommorow…

This Tuesday I want to share with you one of my favorite vintage Etsy shops. Hellhound Vintage offers wonderful photos and clothing picks mostly from the sixties, with a good gypsy vibe. Right now they have lots of old embroidered shirts and dresses that I am loving so much right now. Heres the dress that inspired me to chose this as a favorite.
Thrift shopping is a favorite of mine and once you find that amazing thrift shop it is like a little jewel that you never forget. When on a road trip, I love stopping in at random thrift stores in small towns and finding so many treasures. Recently I found an amazing vintage store in Port Townsend,WA where my mom lives. It felt like I was right in the 50s and 60s while in it! If you are ever in lovely Port Townsend check out the Wandering Wardrobe.

Oh finally summer is here, we have had such a chilly June and July… but now we are getting those hot summer days. Gardens are looking much happier! Finally ripe tomatoes. We had our first ripe tomato a few nights back, what a treat! The islands get quite crazy this time of year with visitors from all around. Life seems to be rushing by, with many changes always arising, right when you think you got it all firgured out it makes a crazy turn. So happy I have a place of refuge and that is my garden.
Well off to farmers market, hope it is a good one.
